Policy.

The fun stuff.

We hope this page can provide clarity on issues that might arise. Our goal is to provide the least amount of friction for as many people to be able to gather together for a worship service, fellowship, and church functions, as possible. We do not think that these are perfect, and they might evolve, but every policy we hold has been thoughtfully prayed over and is right for our church, for such a time as this.
Dogs / Service Animals
While we love dogs (almost more than people some of the time, 😆) we realize that God has elevated humans, made in His image, to a higher level and thus deserving of more focus.

NON-SERVICE DOGS/ANIMALS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE CHURCH DURING ANY SERVICE OR EVENT.

SERVICE ANIMALS are allowed, as follows:
  • Only allowed in the Lobby (no service animals allowed in the Sanctuary at any time.)
  • Must remain on a leash at all times or have clear markings that this is a "Service animal".

Note: ADA.gov states, “Religious organizations and entities controlled by religious organizations, including places of worship, are not covered by Title III of the ADA.” Therefore religious organizations, such as our church, are exempt from all service animal laws and do not need to allow them at all. We love them, and furthermore love the people that they help so we want to be as accommodating as we can, as stipulated above.
Parking
We know that our parking lot is of limited size and fills up well before our Sanctuary fills up, and we also fill up our Lobby and some outdoor seating. While this is often called a "good problem", it is a problem nonetheless. Thank you for understanding our predicament here.

With that said, we do have policy around parking, as follows:
  • Spots in parking lot may be saved/reserved for those who are elderly or handicap. We do have designated handicap spots available but if these fill up we might designate some other spots as needed. Reservations can be made here.
  • We have some unmarked spots in our lot (in the rocks, etc) that our parking attendants will maximize for services. Please listen to them and don't just try and park anywhere.
  • Feel free to park along the curbs in the neighborhood but please DO NOT BLOCK ANYONE'S DRIVEWAY.
  • We do try and provide a church van/shuttle to give people a lift up to the church if they need to park in the streets. We realize that the church is at the top of the hill so any parking outside our lot will otherwise require a short hike to get there.
  • We have a parking map available here.

Please let us know if you have any questions or any suggestions as well.
