Abraham is the only person in the OT whom God calls His friend — it was the mark upon Abraham's life. What can we learn from the life of Abraham in what it means to be God's friend. Jesus calls His disciples friends in the NT and the fact this amazing opportunity is opened up to us should humble and inspire us more than anything else!
