This Foundation is being created to raise awareness for motorcycle safety especially among the younger generation. Proper training and skills must be acquired before being able to purchase a motorcycle—and we will advocate for that.

Daniel was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, July 1st on Skyline Blvd in San Mateo County. All donations received in the link below will be given to the WAKE UP Foundation in his name, with the hope that other families can be spared the pain and loss of a similar situation.

Thank you for your gifts, support, and prayer.

Daniel Meiswinkel, who was just one month shy of his 19th birthday, passed away and was taken by the LORD on Tuesday, July 1st. It has been a difficult week, and the Meiswinkel family is incredibly grateful for all the love & support they have received during this profound loss—truly the hardest one a family can experience.

One of the most comforting aspects of the beautiful Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is that God the Father understands this kind of loss, having experienced the loss of His only Son. God can sympathize with us in our darkest hour AND also be the light that breaks the horizon to shine upon our face. God is faithful—our only hope in both life AND death.

"And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”— Revelation 21:3-4

In His Grace,
Pastor J-Frei
